I assume your have added the RetryInterval and RetryCount properties on the db adapter?
What check did you do to see if the retry functionality was working or not ?

Have you ever worked with the DBAdapter and an ESB process? We are trying to use the built in adapter retry functionality with not much success. Any pearls of wisdom you could share?

Hi Eric,

I also noticed this:
I removed the faultbindings entry from the bpel.xml as I did not want the fault framework to be used. I run an instance and I see that the invoke is completing in YEllow and waiting for Manual Recovery. I was expecting it to be in RED.

Is that not the expected behavoiur. Thanks and appreciate your help

Hi Eric,

After I did what I said above, I see the invoke in YELLOW now. But it says "Invoke Activity Marked for Pending Recovery".
In my DefaultPolicy.xml, I have defined the retry action first and then the human-intervention. My understanding is that first it retries in the intervals we specified and then it will wait for human-intervention.

Does that mean that the retry is not working?
Thanks

Yes, that means the framework doesn't get active.
Can you email (in rar) the xml files from the fault framework, so i can have a look at them ?

Yes. I see a WI_FAULT table in the database.

It is throwing a bindingFault. And in my FaultPolicy.xml I have the action as ora-rethrow-fault which would get the control back to the process and handled by the catch branch I ahve there. But I see it in RED and not YELLOW. Does that mean the FaultPolicy is not executed at all.

Also I'm thinking I will change the Faultpolicy to ahve the retry action for bindingFault. Now if I test, will it show in YELLOW?

Thanks
